Journey With Me Through ADHD: A Podcast for Kids

This podcast will speak straight to the heart and mind of a child impacted by ADHD. It's a helpful conversational tool that can be used by families and educators. This podcast was created so those in my ADHD world never have to feel alone!

Oct 28, 2021

Have you ever said the works, "I want to be like..." or " I want to be normal!?" My question is...what is "normal" anyways and why would we all want to be the same thing!? For ADHD Awareness Month, I am trying to get more creative with my episodes and begin empowering kids voices to be heard! You will hear from 8 year old Cameron, from Canada, who shares how he feels having ADHD. This brave boy confidently tells you how ADHD can be "great and annoying sometimes..." He talks about the "superpowers" that his ADHD gives him too! You will also hear about how ants and grasshoppers are both insects, but are also different in so many ways! We don't want to try to be an ant when we are born to be a grasshopper! Your take away is to talk about or write down what you feel is great and annoying about having ADHD!

Email katelynmabry4@gmail.com if you'd like your voice heard on a future podcast episode! It's more fun to learn and grow alongside each other!!!
