It can be easy to live inside your own head without others really knowing the struggles and strengths going on inside. This can leave you feeling disconnected, misunderstood, and alone on your ADHD journey!

I have GREAT news for you! You have the power to be your own best advocate (sharing with others what is going on in your mind, what is driving those big emotional reactions, and give an explanation for some behaviors seen.)

You will hear from a collection of 3 brilliant ADHD experts, who have grown their own advocacy business for those who are navigating ADHD. "The Childhood Collective" is an incredible resource for you and your child to learn more about your ADHD.

In this episode, these woman share tips on how to become your own self-advocate in all environments!

Katie, who is a speech pathologist, shares tip #1: Identifying your strengths and struggles.

Lori, who is a child psychologist, shares tip #2: Finding your voice and sharing with a trusted adult.

Mallory, who is also a child psychologist, shares tip #3: Practicing our self-advocating skills beforehand!
